The British North American Colony
Explain the goal of the British in establishing colonies in the Americas in the 1600s and afterwards. Was it similar to the goals of other Europeans nations like Spain? Explain and provide examples of how that goal shaped their relationship with other European nations, Native Americans, and Africans. How did it shape the evolution of slavery in the colonies? How did that mission ultimately led to the American colonies revolting and fighting a war to change their relationship with Britain?
