Lyrics/Purpose	4 The lyrics are meaningful to the artists, flow with the melody and connect to the overall song. It has good rhythm and meaning. The song has a clear purpose and is exciting to listen to.	3 Lyrics are meaningful and connect to the music. Clearly thought out and fit the topic. Song has a clear purpose.	2 Lyrics are starting to flow with the melody. Some purpose to the song. Song MIGHT fit it's title or topic if you really thought about it, however is still unclear.	1 Lyrics clash with the melody and have don't address the main purpose of the song. Purpose is unclear, song doesn't seem to have any focus or topic.
Song Performance	4 Students stay serious about their perfomance, they go above and beyond by creating movement to go with their song.	3 Student perform the song well while staying focused and are musically expressive.	2 Students perform the song but are constantly laughing and breaking character during the song.	1 Student perform the song but can't be heard, have little or no expression or feeling.
