Music Composition 
Build a musical composition 16 measures long that uses a variety of rhythms (up to 16th note subdivisions) specific dynamics, and all instruments of the team.

Students have notated their composition mostly correct but there are missing measures or more than two measures have rhythmic errors.
Poor

Students have failed to notate correctly and there is little regard for number of measures and correct number of beats per measure.
Rhythm

Excellent

Students have used a variety of rhythms including sixteenth notes and syncopation and the composition makes musical sense with good flow.
Good

Students have used a variety of rhythms including sixteenth notes and the composition mostly makes musical sense with good flow.
Fair

Students have not used a variety of rhythms and there are no sixteenth notes.
Poor

Students have not used a variety of rhythms, the composition is boring and without musical flow.
Dynamics

Excellent

Students have included at least three dynamic changes over their composition.
Good

Students have included at least two dynamic changes over their composition.
Fair

Students have included one dynamic change over their composition.
Poor

Students have not included any dynamic changes over their composition.
Performance

Excellent

Students can perform the composition accurately and can reproduce it more than once including dynamic changes and all parts.
Good

Students can perform the composition but make minor mistakes or can not reproduce the performance.
Fair

Students performance of the composition is shaky and they can not reproduce the performance.
Poor

Students can not perform the composition.
