	Incomplete 0 pts	Poor 5 pts	Average 10 pts	Exceptional 15 pts
Project 50 %
Facts The information in the presentation/project	Incomplete Missing/late/or otherwise no relation to topic	Poor Some facts are present but does not cover all needed imformation/ incorrect information is presented.	Average Most needed information is included with very little if any incorrect facts. The student(s) knows the topic well.	Exceptional All needed information is included with no fauly information. The student(s) have mastered the subject. (To get the full 15 there will also need to be new information that wasn't presented in class or in assigned readings.)
Organization Creativity/Originality/ Order	Incomplete There is nothing to organize/late/ organization makes it impossible to understand	Poor Facts are presented with little or no logical order but still is understood at some level.	Average Project is neat and in a correct logical order but little creativity was put into the layout.	Exceptional Layout is not only logical but interesting and creative. Points flow flawlessly from one to the next. (Only the three most original/creative projects will recieve a 15)
Citations 4 Citations are required	Incomplete no citations/wrong citations altogether	Poor Citations are present but not the required amount/citations have many errors	Average Required 4 citations are present and in correct MLA format at the end of the presentation	Exceptional Required 4 citations are included both intext and at the end. Correct MLA format. (To recieve a 15 two of your sources must be outside of class material)
Class Presentation 20 %
Audible Loud & clear	Incomplete Did not present	Poor Presentation was not clear enough to be heard or understood.	Average Presentation was mostly clear/one person did most of the presentation	Exceptional Presentation was exceptional and both partners contributed an even amount. (To recieve a 15 the presenter(s) must retain eye contact and at least appear to be well prepared to present... aka you should pratice presenting)
Length 7-10 Minutes	Incomplete No presentation	Poor The presentation was over a minute under the required amount or there was dead time where nothing was being presented	Average The presentation less than a minute away from the required 7 minutes and there was little to no dead time. If more than 1/2 of the presentation was video/audio score cant be over 12.	Exceptional Presentation easily went for 7 minutes but was not over 10 minutes. There was no wasted/dead time. (To recieve a 15 a minimum of 8 minutes is required and no more than 3 minutes of video/audio was used
Attention grabbing	Incomplete No presentation	Poor No interaction or interesting material.	Average Most of the presentation was interesting and attempted to interact with the audiance.	Exceptional Sucessful interaction with the audiance. The presentation was attention grabbing and held your attention. (To recieve a 15 some handout must be used well durring before or after the presentation)
Participation 30 %
Attentivness Durring other presentation	Incomplete Slept or not in class durring other presentation (does not include excused absence)	Poor Was awake and in class but did not pay attention.	Average Attentive and interactive with presenters most of the time. Had questions for at least 2 groups after presentation.	Exceptional Interacted with each presentation if allowed, asked frequent questions after presentations and overall helped the presenters feel comfortable. (To recieve a 15 notes should be taken durring presentations)
Group Effort	Incomplete Did no work/ had no project as a group	Poor Did the least needed to finish the project on time.	Average Made an effort to help with the project and equally split work between the two group members.	Exceptional Must have an average score of 12 on the project portion of this rubic. Each person did an equal shair of work and group evaluation show that ideas were also shared equally. Did entire project on own because partner didn't help. (To recieve a 15 must fit above criteria and have a average of 13 with no score bellow 10)
