Rubric for Regions of the United States Project 
Students will work as a team to research, and create a Travel Brochure and Podcast about the Regions of the United States. Created for use with the Webquest creation developed by C. Barlow, P. Capiewski, and K. Petroshius

OUTSTANDING

Team members worked exceptionally well together using Google documents. ALL team members listened to and supported the efforts of others. The group was on task the majority of time!

Team members worked pretty well together using Google documents. However, the team as a whole was dominated by 1 or 2 team members. The group was almost always on task.

TRAVEL BROCHURE

OUTSTANDING

The Travel Brochure is very well laid out, all information about the region is accurate, it contains no spelling errors, grapics are attractive and well distributed, and at least 3 historic sites and 5 attractions are listed for the region, 2 foods that are common to the region AND at least 3 state facts are listed in the Travel Brochure.
SATISFACTORY

The Travel Brochure is somewhat organized AND/OR has 1 or 2 pieces of inaccurate information, AND/OR 1 or 2 spelling errors, AND/OR graphics are not well laid out AND/OR only 2 historic sites are listed AND/OR 4 attractions are listed for the region, only 1 food that is common to the region AND/OR 2 state facts are listed in the Travel Brochure.
UNACCEPTABLE

The Travel Brochure is very poorly organized or laid out AND/OR more than 2 items are inaccurate, AND/OR there are more than 2 spelling errors, AND/OR graphics do not go well with the text, AND/OR there is only 1 historic site listed AND/OR 3 or less attractions are listed for the region, AND/OR no foods that are common to the region are named AND/OR only 1 state fact is listed in the Travel Brochure.

ALL members of the team were exceptionally prepared. ALL spoke clearly and they ALL presented their region with enthusiasm. At least 3 historic sites and 5 attractions , 2 foods common to the region and 3 state facts were named during the presentation.

Most members of the team were well prepared, AND/OR 1 team member did not speak clearly, AND/OR 1 team member did not speak with enthusiasm, AND/OR while presenting information about their region onlly 2 historic sites AND/OR 4 attractions were named during the Podcast AND/OR only 1 food common to the region, AND/OR only 2 state facts were named during the presentation.
UNACCEPTABLE

Two ot more members of the team were not well prepared, AND/OR more than one member of the team did not speak clearly, AND/OR only 1 historic site was named AND/OR only 3 attractions, AND/OR no food was named that is common to the region, AND/OR only 1 state fact was named during the presentation.

As an individual the student has done an exceptional job of gathering all required information. ALL information is accurate and the student has completed ALL job responsibilities.
SATISFACTORY

As an individual the student has done a very good job, but may have missed 1 important piece of the information AND/OR has not completed 1 area of his/her job responsibilities.
UNACCEPTABLE

As an individual, the student hss done s poor job of gathering information with 2 or more items missing, AND/OR the student has gathered information that is inaccurate AND/OR has not completed 2 or more areas of his/her job responsibilities.
