Creativity/ Art Work	Poor No color, creativity, or detail. Use of only pen or pencil.	Fair Comic is lacking color, creative, or detail. Needs more time spent on it but still good.	Good Comic is creative and colorful but could use more details.	Excellent Comic is creative and colorful. Provides details and captures all aspects of the enzyme/substrate relationship. Took time and put in great effort.
Terminology and Details	Poor No use of vocabulary/ terminology words. Very little to no details.	Fair Good details and many terms used, forgotten one or more main ideas or areas that need to be discussed. Needs some extra work.	Good Provide great caption and labels to clarify. a couple explanations are unclear. Use of vocabulary and terminology but might be off on a couple .	Excellent Provide excellent captions and labels for each stage. Give great details and leave out no important information. Has all requirements of terms.
Accuracy and Understanding	Poor Has little to no understanding of the fossils and evidence of evolution. Needs to review material.	Fair Shows an understanding of the the fossils and evidence of evolution but needs more details. Need to review subject material.	Good Shows a good understanding of the fossils and evolution and misses few details to almost none.	Excellent Shows a great understanding of the how enzyme act in an organism. Can thoroughly explain how fossils are formed and how they show evidence of evolution.
Story line	Poor No creativity, no story, not labeled. Does not make sense.	Fair Shows minimal knowledge of the the fossils and evidence of evolution. Gives slides, but does not provide a story. Just a drawing of the stages.	Good Has a good understanding of the subject. Shows this through the comic. Missing only minimal parts of the story, has most parts labeled correctly .	Excellent Student has excellent understanding of the subject. Comic has explained all the steps and created a fun/creative story line to go further remember the relationship the fossils and their evidence of evolution. Shows mastery of the subject.
Requirements	Poor Missing several of the requirements and boxes.	Fair Follows directions but missing more than two requirements.	Good Follows requirements but one or two terms, or missing boxes.	Excellent Follows all requirements. Provides 4 boxes and all required terms and vocabulary. Exceptional job all around.
