BandLab Project - Make A Ringtone

Students will use the program BandLab to create a Ringtone. Students must use at least 8 measures; 4 tracks - specifically - Drum Track, 2 Loops and 1 Voice Recording. The entire selection must use Automation and FX to receive full credit.

Length Song Must be at least 8 measures long.	Beginning Song does not have enough measures or does is cut off in the middle of a measure	Developing Song is almost 8 measures long.	Meeting - Proficient Song is at least 8 measures long.	Exemplary Song is more than 8 measures and uses the time to finish the song completely.
Number of Tracks Project must have at least 4 tracks	Beginning Student uses 1 tracks.	Developing Student uses 2-3 tracks.	Meeting - Proficient Student uses 4 tracks	Exemplary Students uses more than 4 tracks to effectively create the song.
Beat There should be a steady beat throughout the piece and the rhythms are complimentary to the melody and harmony.	Beginning Beat has no rhythm or variety and transitions are non-existent.	Developing Beat has some rhythm and transitions. The rhythms somewhat compliment the melody and harmony.	Meeting - Proficient The rhythms and transitions are satisfactory and compliment the melody and harmony of the song. There is a clear beat throughout the piece.	Exemplary The rhythms and transitions are good and compliment the melody and harmony of the song. There is a clear beat throughout the piece.
Automation/FX Song has use of Automation and FX that create the mood and feeling of the song.	Beginning Song has little to no Automation and FX.	Developing Song has some Automation and FX.	Meeting - Proficient Song has both Automation and FX that compliment the mood of the song.	Exemplary Song has both Automation and FX that outline the different voices/tracks and creates the overall mood and feel of the song.
