Team work	Needs Major Support Not enough or too much communication with team. Did not copy instructor on electronic communication.	Novice Communication frequency adequate but includes basic errors such as lack of etiquette, misspellings, and/or incorrect grammar, punctuation or capitalization.	Emerging/ Developing Communication frequency and writing technique correct but tone of voice or language used lacks professionalism for business events	Proficient/ Exemplary Excellent and effective communication with entire team, including frequency and professional communication techniques.
To Do List	Needs Major Support Poorly conceived list. Not typed. Unorganized and not complete. Many items and preparation steps are missing.	Novice List needs improvement. Some items don't make sense. Although typed, formatting incorrect (not user friendly) or tools do not look professional.	Emerging/ Developing List is good. A few minor details are missing and to do list may be slightly off or tasks listed in incorrect order, making it hard to follow.	Proficient/ Exemplary To do list is well thought out and complete, taking into consideration everything that needs to be done
Materials and Supply List	Needs Major Support List is incomplete or missing many details.	Novice Supply list needs improvement. Items missing and/or amounts need adjusting.	Emerging/ Developing Supply list is good, may need minor adjustments or details	Proficient/ Exemplary Supply list is excellent. Every item for the event is listed and amounts are correct.
Diagram and equipment layout	Needs Major Support Venue diagram is poorly drawn or missing. Equipment layout plan is included and is clear.	Novice Venue diagram needs improvement. Equipment layout plan is included but is not clear.	Emerging/ Developing Venue setting diagram and equipment layout plan are good. Some minor details were lacking.	Proficient/ Exemplary Venue setting diagram and equipment layout plan is excellent!
Preparation & Set Up	Needs Major Support Poor organization resulted in set up team performing tasks incorrectly, missing deadlines, and/or creating sub-standard presentation. Instructor had to take over.	Novice Organization needed improvement but was executed with several on-the-spot changes.	Emerging/ Developing Well organized, with a few minor details missing. Set up team able to follow diagram, lists, with some oral corrections.	Proficient/ Exemplary Excellent organization and leadership resulted in efficient preparation and set up.
Final Product	Needs Major Support Instructor had to trouble-shoot/ take over or assign another student to take the lead for product.	Novice Final product required adjustments in order to meet standards.	Emerging/ Developing Final product was good, meeting expectations with some minor adjustments. WOW factor evident.	Proficient/ Exemplary Excellent final product! Lot's of WOW factors.
