How-to Essay 
A How-to Essay is a written, step-by-step explanation of a process. Choose a process that you enjoy and write a how-to essay that will help readers perform the process. This will be a multi-paragraph essay: introduction paragraph, three paragraphs for the body, and a concluding paragraph.

The writer consistently uses transitions, including time transitions, that clarify the order of events.

The essay does not use transitions effectively, and the essay is not logically organized> Some vital information has been left out.
