Formatting	Poor Few to none of the poems were written using the proper format for each style. Shows that student was not listening during class, student did not reference notes in poetry package, or the student did not ask the teacher for clarification.	Fair Several poems were written using the proper style. Student made formatting mistakes that were addressed by the teacher and corrected by student in proof reading.	Good All the students work is properly proofread and/or corrected.
Proofreading	Poor Students work shows no self proofreading or proofreading by a peer.	Fair	Good Student has their work proofread by one or more others.
