The cartoon is acceptably attractive though it may be a bit messy. A bit of time was off task.

The cartoon is attractive in terms of layout and neatness. Most of the student's time was on task.

The cartoon is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, layout, and neatness. Student used all their time wisely.
Spelling and Grammar

There are many mistakes and they interfere with understanding the thought process.

There are many mistakes but the reader can still understand the message.

There is a pattern of mistakes. The student is proficient but there is room for improvement.

There is only 1-2 errors. There is not pattern to the mistakes. There is clear evidence of mastery.

Student was rude throughout all presentations. Ms. Aulph had to redirect me several times.

I was an okay listener. I was distracted more than a couple times, but when Ms. Aulph re-directed me I started listening again.

I was a perfect listener. I paid attention to my classmates and did not read, text message, or involve myself in any activity while my classmates were presenting.
Speaking

Students in the front row could hardly hear and my body language was not confident.
Fair
Most of the students could hear, except a couple in the far back. Body language could have been more confident but was not timid.
Good
The student clearly conveys messages with proficient volume and body language. I stood up tall.
Perfect
The student clearly conveys their message with exceptional verbal volume and body language.
