1. Poetry Analysis

Write a 1-2 page analysis of the song you choose noting poetic devices listed on the following pages. Discuss the meaning or theme of the song quoting sections or lines. Give at least three examples of poetic devices used and how they help bring the meaning across to the listeners.

3. Presentation

During your presentation you will play the song and lyrics projected for your classmates to follow along. Briefly explain your analysis of the song and one example of poetic devices. Rehearse and make note cards for your presentation. Good Luck!
