Students will create a dance that illustrates the concept of radial symmetry by having the same occurrence in each section;students also have to write a description of their process, detailing what radial symmetry is and how it was represented in the choreography. Choreography should have a clear beginning, middle, and end; and transitions that are seamless

Choreography Were the students clear and united on the movements? Were the movements clear and strong? Did they fit with the music?	Excellent Group accomplished the task extremely well and related the dance movements to the music and math concept clearly.	Good Group accomplished task well and related the dance movements to the theme.	Fair Group somewhat accomplished task and movements are unclear doesn't relate to theme.	Needs Improvement Group is confused about assignment and was missing choreography.	Poor Group did not finish assignment and movements have no relation to song.
Radial Symmetry Is the choreography identical in each section of the circle? Are the sections equally divided from the radius? Are the sections clearly delineated?	Excellent Dancers know the movement extremely well. Confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction. DANCE is clean and well rehearsed.
