Skit Peformance Rubric 
This rubric is designed for a French group presentation in which they will be presenting a skit based off the unit's vocabulary of reflexive verbs that describe aspects of one's daily routine, chores, and the use of the command form.

Poor

Students worked together poorly, skit was late, preparation was unorganized, and/or took away from the overall quality of the work.
Fair

Students worked sufficiently together, skit was on time, and preparation was unorganized, overall comprehension was affected, but not too much.
Good

Students worked together with little or no problems, skit was on time, and/or organization was fairly good. Helped to enhance skit.
Excellent

Students prepared the skit with no issues, were on time, and excited/proud about their work! Really helped to enhance the skit! Great job!
Use of vocabulary words.

Poor

Students incorporated very few (if any) reflexive verbs and / or expressions that were covered in Units 2 and 3.
Fair

Students incorporated different reflexive verbs throughout the skit, however, some were not used properly.
Good

Students incorporated several reflexive verbs throughout the skit, and used it well.
Excellent

Students used a wide range of different reflexive verbs and vocabulary / expressions, as related to topic, throughout the skit.
Grammar

Student had 8 or more grammar points used incorrectly (conjugation) throughout the skit, with little effort for correction.
Fair

Student had 6-7 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with little or some effort for correction.
Good

Student had 4- 5 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, with some effort for correction.
Excellent

Students had less than 3 grammar points used incorrectly throughout the skit, and really made sure to use self-correction when needed. Bravo!
Fluency

(individual grade)

Poor

Student presented a below average demonstration of French fluency. Student stumbled over words and missed or confused lines multiple times. Student had to use note-cards for lines.
Fair

Student presented an average demonstration of French fluency. Student stumbled over words and missed or confused lines more than 3 times. Student had to use note-cards for lines often.
Good

Student presented an average demonstration of French fluency. Student stumbled over words at times and confused lines two or fewer times, but there was very little affect on overall comprehension.
Excellent

Student presented an above average performance. Student had few to no issues with fluency, and this really boosted overall presentation of skit! Excellent!
Participation

(individual grade)

Poor

Did not work well within his/her group, and did not bring ideas to their group.
Fair

Not all group member's participated according to the task. Took from overall group progress.
Good

All group member's fully participated, however, there were times when certain students fell off topic, and were discussing things other than their skit.
Excellent

All group member's fully participated and brought ideas to their group, and kept focused throughout their preparation.
Pronunciation

(individual grade)

Poor

Made absolutely no effort to have an accent that is able to be understood, and therefor lost their audience.
Fair

There was a slight attempt to have an accent that the audience could follow, but there were many times where it was impossible to understand what was being said.
Good

Good accents. A couple of mistakes in pronouncing some words, but this did not affect overall comprehension.
Excellent

Excellent effort trying to have a realistic French accent, as well as gestures that may go along with what was being said! Absolutely not difficulty understanding what was being related to the audience.
