This rubric is designed for grades 4-6. Students are assessed by utilizing the following criteria as they think-aloud during a text reading.

Predicting	Advanced A reasonable prediction was formed by using support from the title, illustration, text, and prior knowledge.	Proficient A reasonable prediction was formed by using support from the title, illustration, or text.
