Brochure contains summary of setting, why one should visit, points of interests, and a summary of Caesar's life.	Good Student turns in most elements.	Fair Student turns in few elements.	Poor Student turns in one element.
Understanding Topic The student is able to demonstrate knowledge of topic as assigned.	Excellent Student generated work is outstanding in terms of topic development. Student goes above requirements.	Good Student demonstrates knowledge of the topic to satisfy requirements of assignment.	Fair Student does not have a clear understanding of topic or uses too few examples.	Poor Student does not provide evidence of topic knowledge.
Spelling Student will write for an audience using standard English conventions.	Excellent Student has no errors in spelling or grammar and uses a rich and varied vocabulary.	Good Student has 1 or 2 errors in spelling or grammar.	Fair Student has several errors in spelling or grammar that do not affect the understanding of the subject.	Poor Student has many errors in spelling or grammar that makes the work difficult to understand.
Effort Project shows thoughtful and careful placement of text and pictues. Evidence of work done outside of class.	Excellent Student exceeds requirements for design and style. A rich variety of appropriate photos and text.	Good Student shows a high level of effort and several photos.	Fair Some level of effort. 1 or 2 photos, or photos not appropriate for document.	Poor Little evidence of planning or effort. Messy or incomplete. No photos.
