Students do not enter or leave stage in an organized way and do not pay attention to the conductor at any time of the performance

Students enter and leave the stage in a somewhat organized way and pay attention to the conductor at random times.

Students enter and leave stage in a fairly organized manner and pay attention to the conductor at the beginning and end of each piece of music.

Students are very organized in entering and leaving the stage and pay attention to the conductor at the beginning, ending, and various times in the middle of each piece.

Students play almost all wrong notes, have the wrong fingers pressed, makes no effort to correct themselves, do not seems to have a concept of reading the notes, are completely out of tune.

Student plays a fair number of correct pitches, somewhat in tune.

Students plays almost all corect notes with good intonation.

Students plays every note perfect and in tune.

Students do not give an overall positive presentation and are a total distraction to the performance.

Students give an overall fair performance with a fair number of distractions.

Students give an overall good performance with few distractions.

Students give an excellent performance with few or no distractions.
