Retell in Sequence	Emerging I was unable to retell the story and needed many redirects and prompts to continue the story. Sequence of events is not followed.	Developing I was able to retell the story, but my sequence of events is confused. Details of the story are missing.	Established I was abler to retell the story in sequence.
Descriptiveness/Setting	Emerging I gave little or no detail when retelling the story and I left out many important events.	Developing I gave a lot of details when retelling the story and left out no important events.	Established I gave a vast amount of details when retelling the story and left out no events, to help the listener picture of setting in their mind.
