	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Content	Poor Project does not have much content. No poem or passage was selected. The student does not write about the author's tone. The project is not related to the topic.	Fair Project has an okay amount of content. The student chooses a passage and writes the author's tone, but does not explain evidence to support their claim.	Good Project's content is good. The student chose a poem, writes the author's tone, and provides support for their claim using the poem/passage he or she selected.
Follows instructions	Poor Student has not followed instructions. The project is not a flyer. The student does not put information in the appropriate boxes.	Fair Student followed most of the instructions. The student may have mixed up 1 or 2 of the boxes or forgotten the title.	Good Students followed the instructions. All of the boxes hold the correct information, the title is as instructed.
Mechanics	Poor There are 5+ grammar/spelling errors.	Fair There are 2-4 spelling/grammar errors.	Good There are less than 2 spelling/grammar errors.
