Design	Grade A 13 or more features of a castle are easy to recognize even without labeling.	Grade B 9 - 12 features of a castle are recognizable.	Grade C 5 - 8 features of a castle are recognizable.	Grade D 1-4 features of a castle are recognizable.
Time used in class	Grade A Student used time wisely.	Grade B Student used most of their time wisely.	Grade C Student did not use all their time wisely.	Grade D Student did not use any of their time wisely.
Realism/Creativity	Grade A Castle looks like it was picked up out of Medieval Times and brought to class. There are signs of castle life. Great detail was spent in perfecting castle.	Grade B Colours and landforms are correct. Extra buildings were added. Obiviously put in some time making a good product.	Grade C Can recognize what the castle was made out of. Did the basic work without stepping beyond.	Grade D Basic paint job with no details. Limited features. Put together parts of a pre-made kit.
Oral Presentation	Grade A Has eye contact at least 3-5 times. Speaks clearly and knowledgeably about topic.	Grade B Eye contact only twice. Speaks clearly and knowledgably about topic.	Grade C Eye contact only once. Moderate voice level. Knows some about topic, but is lacking in content.	Grade D No eye contact, no knowledge about topic, and/or can not hear presentation.
Written Paper	Grade A Paper has an introduction, at least five comprehensive paragraphs about topic, and a concluding paragraph. Note: a paragraph has 5-8 sentences.
