Recipe and Cooking Video 
Students will create a video of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of their choice. They will incorporate English cooking vocabulary and cooking procedures

Exceeds Expectations

The student successfully goes through the recipe and applies each step carefully. The recipe contains all the ingredients and the steps to prepare it.
Good

The student does his/ her best to apply the recipe. All the ingredients are included but one of the steps is missing.
Fair

The student applies most of the ingredients and steps and the end product is fair.
Poor

The student does not apply most of the steps and some ingredients are missing. The end product has nothing to do with the recipe.
Grammar & Pronunciation (Video)

Exceeds Expectations

Student pronounced most words correctly (less then 2 mistakes). The entire video was spoken in English.
Student has demonstrated excellent control of grammar (less than 2 mistakes)
Good

Almost all words were pronounced correctly with the exception of 2-3 words. English was spoken throughout the whole presentation.
Student has demonstrated good control of grammar (2-3 mistakes)
Fair

Some words were pronounced correctly with the exception of 4-5 words.
Student has demonstrated adequate control of grammar (4-5 mistakes)
1-2 words in Catalan/Spanish
Poor

Many words were pronounced incorrectly (6-8 mistakes) and Catalan/Spanish is used in some parts.
Students have demonstrated limited control of grammar (more than 6 mistakes)
Video Quality (Video)

Exceeds Expectations

Picture quality is easily seen and clear.
Easy to understand.
Audio is clear.
Good

Audio is clear and easy to understand. Video is a little out of focus, blurry or bumpy.
Fair

Audio is strained and hard to hear but still understandable
Video is a little difficult to see, but still viewable.
Poor

Audio is strained and you can hear some of it.
Video is difficult to view.
Video Length (Video)

Exceeds Expectations

Video length is more than 4 minutes long.
Good

Video length is between 3-4 minutes.
Fair

Video length is between 2-3 minutes.
Poor

Video length is between 1-2 minutes.
