Listening Behaviors	Poor Tunes out when the teacher begins to talk. Speaks while the teacher or classmate is talking. Must be told what to do individually.	Fair Sometimes looks at the speaker. Often looks around at others	Good Usually appears to look at the speaker.	Advanced Consistently look at the speaker.
Engages with Instruction Verbally	Poor Rarely comments.	Fair Sometimes comments on presented information. May need a direct question to do so.	Good Usually comments on presented information, does not need prompting from teacher but is responsive to prompting.	Advanced Frequently comments on presented information. Does not need prompts from teacher to offer comment.
