Lab Participation Grade

(20 POINTS - 4 points each section) Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your class participation grade will be determined. All students are expected to participate in class! I do understand that some students are shy and participate in ways other than class discussion. If a student is absent, s/he lost points on the punctuality grade rubric also.

Fair Student arrives on time and enters the classroom without disrupting. Student navigates to his desk independently.	Poor Student arrives on time and enters the classroom without disrupting.
Lesson Completion	Excellent Student will accurately complete each page of the assignment be able to tell a teacher / friend / peer the topic of the lesson and give three detail.	Good Student will accurately complete 95% of the assignment and be able to tell a teacher / friend / peer the topic of the lesson and give two detail.	Fair Student will accurately complete 90% of the assignment and be able to tell a teacher / friend / peer the topic of the lesson and give one detail.	Poor Student will accurately complete 85% of the assignment and be able to tell a teacher / friend / peer the topic of the lesson.
Peer Interaction	Excellent Student will interact with peers appropriately and stay on topic for 75% of the lesson.	Good Student will interact with peers appropriately and stay on topic for 50% of the lesson.	Fair Student will interact with peers appropriately and stay on topic for 25% of the lesson.	Poor Student will interact with peers appropriately.
Quiz	Excellent Student will take the Gizmo quiz at the end of the Gizmo and receive a score of 5 out of 5.	Good Student will take the Gizmo quiz at the end of the Gizmo and receive a score of 4 out of 5.	Fair Student will take the Gizmo quiz at the end of the Gizmo and receive a score of 3 out of 5.
