Simple Machines: Fall 2016 Final 
Students will work with a partner to build a "Nifty Lifting Machine" of their own. The students will build a simple machine and be able to demonstrate how to change velocity and acceleration and the relationship between them. Students should also discuss in the effects of gravity and friction of the simple machine.
