Depth of Knowlege	Excellent Student addresses all assigned components of the project, including: (1) physical description, (2) historical background, (3) significance to the American people	Good 2 components are present.	Fair 1 component is present.	Poor Student displays little depth of knowledge of the symbol.
Research Information	Excellent Informational text is very detailed. Student writing is accurate with 0-1 error in spelling and punctuation.
