Utopian Government Project

You are going to create your own government! You will write/create your own government purpose statement. You will then create a list of 10 rights for your people. You will then write a persuasive speech to your citizens about why they should support your new government.

Student displays clear understanding of purpose and importance of this part of the project. Obvious that time and effort was put in.	Good Purpose statement is organized and clear about the purpose of the government. Work is done with fair effort but not what the learner is capable of.	Fair Purpose statement is not well organized but does state a purpose of the government. Work was rushed and little effort was put in. Not to the standard the learner is capable of.	Poor Purpose statement does not clearly state purpose of government. Little effort and quality is not what the learner is capable of.
List of Rights 20 pts Create a list of ten rights for your citizens. Creativity Counts	Exceeds List of rights has 10 rights of the people.
