Answer 3 pts is provided with pertinence to the question and according to the content of the book.	Beginning Step No response is given to the question or instruction for every daily role Responses are developed less than a 3 word response.	Nearing Proficient Answer attempts to respond to the prompt, but may be random. Also, it is generalized and it provides little or no details.	Proficient Answer adequately to the question or instruction provided in each role.	Advanced Answer effectively addressing the prompt provided on the question or instruction for each role.
Cite 3 pts The citations are appropriately made, respecting quotation standards.	Beginning Step No response is given to the question or instruction given. Responses are developed with less than a 3 word response.	Nearing Proficient May be limited to lists of quotes without elaboration or it is not being completely pertinent to the question or instruction given in each role.	Proficient Some information may not be well integrated into the writing because of missing information from the original quote.	Advanced Has a great organization, following quotation standards.
Expand Vocab. 3 pts students use strategies to expand vocabulary such as using a personal dictionary(E-dictionary), using prior knowledge, context and words that have been work in class to predict and to confirm meaning.	Beginning Step No response is given to the instruction or question given in each role. Strategies are not being used as effectively as it is expected. Responses are developed with less than a 3 word response.	Nearing Proficient Less information about the word(s) cited is presented and fewer strategies are evident in the responses.	Proficient Responses as well as strategies have bee used in a very effective manner and they are reflected in the final outcome.	Advanced Contains specific information including facts, details, and examples from the passage. Strategies are used most of the time bringing as a result some sort of self-awareness when they are not being used.
