OPENING IMAGE/THEME	Excellent Able to demonstrate with certainty the Opening Image and Theme and demonstrate it	Good Able to state general gist of Opening Image and Theme with some clarity. But these moments in beat sheet are just OK rather than impactful.	Fair Able to understand concept of Opening Image but image in beat sheet is not strong or appropriate	Poor Not able to grasp concept of Opening Image and Not able to name theme.
SET UP/CATALYST	Excellent Able to state with absolute certainty what constituted the Set Up and what the Catalyst actually is, that will take the story forward.Able also to demonstrate it with creativity	Good Able to identify with some certainty exactly what the Set Up is and what throws the script forward. These moments in beat sheet are however only ok rather than impactful.	Fair Able to grasp the concept of the Set Up and Catalyst, but those elements of the structure are weak in the narrative film	Poor Unable to relay what the Set Up is and what the Catalyst is.
DEBATE/BREAK INTO 2	Excellent Able to both identify these sections within the story and state with clarity specific portions that make up the Debate and Break Into 2 Section. Fair Is able to tell what the B story should be about and who should be in it, but unable to provide a good example in beat sheet. BREAK INTO 3	Excellent Able to explain with certainty where the story has its Break into 3 point and to demonstrate it with creativity in beat sheet	Good Is able to identify what constitutes the beginning of act 3 with some clarity.But this moment in beat sheet lacks impact	Fair Is able to identify with some certainty this portion of script by definition, but unable to give clear examples in script where this section is in particular.	Poor Is unable to identify the particular section of script entitled, Break Into 3.
FINALE/FINAL IMAGE	Excellent Able to distinguish both concepts, able to differentiate between both and can and demonstrate them with creativity in beat sheet	Good Is able to define both sections with some clarity. But this moment in beat sheet lacks impact	Fair Knows the difference between the two, but is unable to separate both portions and is unable to produce a strong finale and final image in beat sheet	Poor Is unable to differentiate between the Finale and Final Image.
