Native American Project
Students are to create a project that will depict aspects of Native American culture with a visual and written component. A written component should accompany the visual and explain the relevance of this item to the Native Americans. The oral presentation will discuss facts and coming of age traditions. Excellent
The project content is exemplary and accurate in its portrayal of assigned area; i.e. environment, clothing, food, weapons/tools and shelter. Covers topic in-depth with details and examples.
Creativity- Appearance
Poor
Minimal or no effort was made to complete the project . Visual has a sloppy appearance.
Fair
Some effort was made on the visual but ideas were more typical than creative. Project is neat.
Most aspects were displayed.
Good
Good creative effort. Visual is neat and shows evidence of time spent on it. Most or all aspects were displayed.
Excellent
Topic is excellently presented reflecting creativity and a lot of thought. All aspects were displayed.
Knowledge
Poor
The visual and demonstrated very little knowledge of the topic. Student could not answer questions about topic.
Fair
The visual demonstrated some knowledge of the subject investigated. Students could answer some questions about topic correctly.
Good
Visual demonstrated good knowledge of the topic. Student could answer most questions about topic correctly.
Excellent
The visual demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the subject investigated. Student clearly answered post- presentation questions correctly and easily.
