Content - 3 points	Beginning Your shield displays 0-1 characteristic of yourself through symbols and pictures.	Developing Your shield displays 2-3 characteristics of yourself through symbols and pictures.	Secure Your shield displays AT LEAST 4 characteristics of yourself through symbols and pictures.
Creativity - 1 point	Beginning Your shield does not provide proof of effort on your part and displays little sign of creativity and color.	Developing Your shield provides proof of some effort and displays some creativity and some color.	Secure Your shield provides proof of effort and displays creativity and color. Your shield catches the eyes of onlookers walking by.
Presentation - 1 point	Beginning You present your shield using minimal to no eye contact and your voice is not loud or clear. You only talk about 1 or 2 of your symbols displayed on your shield.	Developing You discuss the majority of your symbols on your shield, but you present using minimal eye contact and your voice does not carry to the back of the classroom.	Secure You present your shield using constant eye contact with the audience and a loud, clear voice. You discuss the majority of the symbols on your shield.
