Intermediate Paragraph Writing Rubric

A paragraph is a group of sentences developing one topic. This rubric will assess how well students use the writing process to develop the topic and support main ideas within a written paragraph, using complete sentences, focus conventions and assigned vocabulary words.

It is not clear what you will be writing about.
DETAILS (Related Sentences)	4 You have written at least 3 supporting details AND all sentences are on topic.	3 You have written at least 2 supporting detail sentences and both are on topic.	2 You have written at least 2 supporting details sentences BUT only 1 sentence is on topic.	1 You have tried to write supporting details sentences BUT none are on topic.
