Organization	Poor Story does not show clear evidence of beginning, middle, or end (problem or solution)	Fair Story has some clues as to a begginning, middle and end (problem and solution)	Good Story makes sense with a definite beginning, middle, and end (problem and solution)
Voice	Poor Story holds none or very little apparent voice/knowledge of audience	Fair Story is written in first or third person and maintains the same narration throughout	Good Story demonstrates the student's knowledge of the auidence and maintains the same voice throughout (1st person or 3rd person..)
Fluency	Poor Story does not flow together to make sense	Fair Story has some sentence flow and story makes partial sense	Good Sentences flow together smoothly and include transitions
