You meaningfully synthesize connections among experiences within as well as outside the classroom to deepen understanding of your intercultural interactions and broaden your own point of view.

While you effectively select and develop examples from life experiences as well as classroom experiences you need to more meaningfully draw connections between those experiences and course concepts in order to broaden your own point of view.

You draw on few classroom or personal experiences and the link between those experiences and course concepts is a good attempt but not clear, it isn't clear that you have made an effort to broaden your point of view.

You did not connect personal or classroom experiences to any course concepts. No new connections apparent.

You envision a future self (you make plans that build on past experiences that have occurred across multiple and diverse contexts).

You evaluate changes in your own learning over time, recognizing complex contextual factors.

You articulate strengths and challenges but shy away from complex issues.

You describe your performance only with general descriptors of success and/or failure.
