Occasionally shows up late and/or leaves early.	Good Has not missed any class sessions. Does not show up late or leave early.
Informed Involvement	Poor Does not have textbook and shows no indication of having reviewed text or notes from previous classes.	Fair Usually has text and has scanned chapters of assigned reading. Has reviewed notes from previous class session before class begins.	Good Has read and reviewed class notes and text reading for class session. Is ready and willing to get engaged with content and application.
Supportive Communication	Poor Takes no initiative to communicate with classmates before or after class or during breaks. Focuses attention on technology rather than class dynamics.	Fair Will respond to others readily if/when they initiate communication. Will offer clear and helpful feedback to colleagues.	Good Is responsive and communicative with colleagues and instructor. Ready to engage and to respond to others.
Willingness to Take Risks	Poor Waits for others to take initiative. Shows reluctance to make changes or to take risks in class. Responds negatively to feedback or suggestions.	Fair Offers to respond to others' requests but doesn't initiate these. Seems reluctant to take ownership in group or class work. Demonstrates willingness to ask for clarification.	Good Will volunteer to assist others and will offer to take risks in class. Anticipates class/group needs and takes initiative.
