Recount Recount Students are to produce a recount in any of the following formats: - Personal - Historical The event must be factual, in chronological order, feature the who, what, where, when, why, who; and have correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. D The work is riddled with spelling, grammar punctuation errors. No paragraphing.
Writing process	A The work flows smoothly with active, interesting words. Sentences are well organised. Ideas flow logically.	B Some active, interesting words are used. The writing does flow smoothly.	C Few main events and few interesting words are used. The writing does not flow smoothly.	D The work does not include important or relevant details related to the task.
Chronological order	A The work is entirely written in Chronological order utilising past tense words to illustrate time sequence.	B The work remains mostly in chronological order utilising some past tense words to illustrate time sequence.	C The work is occasionally in chronological order utilising few past tense words to illustrate time sequence.	D The work is not in chronological order and does not utilise past tense words to illustrate time sequence.
Facts	A The rubric contains many facts about the historical event/figure. Clearly explained in own words and detailed.	B The rubric contains 3-5 facts about the figure/event. Written clearly and in own words.	C The rubric contains a at least 3 facts written clearly and in own words. More information/explanation needed to explain fully.	D The rubric attempts to include facts although has not attempted to explain in detail or write in own words.
