Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. Requireed information was not included.
Fair

Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around. Some required information was missed reported.
Good

Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Most required information included.
Excellent

Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. All required information was included.
Subject Knowledge

Poor

Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject. Information was not accurate.
Fair

Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions. There was some accurate information.
Good

Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate. Most information was accurate.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration. All information was accurate.
Eye Contact/Voice

Poor

Student reads all of report with no eye contact. Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Student occasionally uses eye contact, but still reads most of report. Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Good

Student maintains eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes. Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Student maintains eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes. Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
Conventions

Poor

Numerous errors distract the audience and make the presentation difficult to understand.
Fair

Limited control of conventions; frequent errors but they do not interfere with audience understanding.
Good

Strong control of conventions; errors are few and minor.
Excellent

Exceptionally strong control of standard conventions of writing.
