Research and organization
Excellent
Presenter obviously has done a great deal of research for the time allowed. They present the class with new and interesting information. They are organized in their presentation and are logical in their explanation.
Good
Presenter has done a decent amount of research for the time allowed, and provides the class with some interesting and informative points about their subject. They have put some time into the organization of their presentation.
Fair
Presenter has not done any research outside of class, so their information is minimal. If there is a plan about presenting the information, it is ineffective.
Poor
Presenter had done little or no research. They do not have a plan about how to present, and give little or no usable information to the class.
Presentation
Excellent
Presenter is making eye contact and speaking to everyone at the table equally. They refer to their notes only occasionally, to keep themselves on track. They exhibit confidence in their subject, and project enthusiasm and curiousity.
Good
Presenter makes decent eye contact with the group, and connects with most of the people at the table. They rely on their notes, often reading off them. They seem fairly confident and are enthusiastic about their subject.
Fair
Presenter spends most of their time looking at their notes, only occasionally making eye contact with the group. There is an obvious sense that they are hurrying through the presentation, just so they can "get it over with"
Poor
Presenter is avoiding looking at the group, and their voices is too low in volume to be easily heard. There is a sense of giving up.
