Ralleys are shorter because of strategic placement of ball based on pace and spin and opponent positon
Advanced

Varying legnth of ralleys because of strategic play
Consistancy of ralleys

Minimal

Inconsistant uncontrolled hits during ralleys
Basic

minimal control of paddle and ball contact
Average

confidence in paddle ball contact (solid contact with the ball majority of time)
Proficient

Consistancy of hits are proficient at contact with control hitting with spin
Advanced

ralleys may vary due to advanced level of hitting
Paddle/Strokes

Minimal

1 stroke/paddle grip
Basic

use of 1 grip with minimal use of 2 strokes (fore/back hand). Favors one stroke.
Average

use of more than 1 grip if needed. Minimal comfort with use of forehand and backhand
Proficient

Player has developed consistant confidence with a favorite stroke overall for the majority of play. Starting to explore different grips for different situations
Advanced

Consistant command of multiple paddle grips and strokes
Pace of ball during ralleys

Minimal

Slow pace
Basic

Medium pace
Average

medium pace with varying speeds
Proficient

fast pace with or without spin and varying speeds.

Controlable pace with side, top, back or combinations of spins
