Below Standards The student answered the questions, but many answers were lacking depth and detail.	Far Below Standards The student did not complete the assignment and/or answered the questions with little depth or detail.
Style and Sentence Form	Exceeds Standards The student answered ALL of the comprehension questions in complete well-written sentences. POV and tone are appropriate and consistent.	Meets Standards The student answered MOST of the comprehension questions in complete well-written sentences. POV and tone are appropriate and consistent.	Below Standards The student answered at least HALF of the comprehension questions in complete sentences. Sentences may lack detail and seem "hurried." POV and tone are mostly appropriate, but may not be consistent.	Far Below Standards The student answered LESS THAN HALF of the comprehension questions in complete sentences. Lack of awareness of appropriate POV and tone.
Conventions	Exceeds Standards Proper use of modern English spelling and grammar is employed consistently throughout the assignment.
