Organization	Excellent I organize my story in a logical manner. I have a title, an opening and closing. There is a logical progression of ideas that are well organized and clearly connected. Use of Verb Tenses	Excellent I clearly demonstrate my ability to correctly use (and form) Spanish verb tenses . I am able to use a wide range of verbs. Some of my sentences show that I can use two or more past tense verbs in the same sentence.	Good I can generally use (and form) the Spanish verb tenses.correctly. I make between 1-3 mistakes with choice of tense and/or spelling/accents.	Average I know that there are differences between the Spanish verb tenses but often confuse usage and/or spelling/accents	Poor I show very little understanding of how the Spanish verb tenses are used . I have over 6 errors in form and usage.
Vocabulary	Excellent I consistently use a wide range of vocabulary that accomplishes the task. I include some of the vocabulary studied this year as well as words that I have learned on my own. I can consistently connect simple sentences to form longer, more sophisticated strings of sentences. I include a wide range of other grammatical structures that we have studied this year.	Good I use a range of vocabulary that accomplishes the task. However, I occasionally may be unable to find the appropriate vocabulary. I rely on vocabulary that I have studied in class, but occasionally include words that I have learned on my own. I tend to use simple, clear sentences with an occasional string of more sophisticated sentences. I make some attempt to include other grammatical structures that we have studied this year.	Average I recognize and use familiar vocabulary on a range of topics but have trouble using words that I have learned outside of class. My sentences are short and mostly claer. I attempt to add information to clarify or justify meaning. I generally stick to using the grammatical structures required by this task.	Poor I use words, phrases and an occasional simple sentence. I recognize and mostly use vocabulary that is very familiar to me on a limited range of topics. I only use the grammatical structures required by this task.
