Student independently follows all directions as written or with permission to change written directions, adheres to all safety rules, cleans up as directed

Absent/unexcused when lab is done.
The student will receive a grade at the end of the Quarter after all Lab practicals have been averaged.
Poor
Required work is incomplete and inaccurate.
Fair
Students partially record data and show lack of accuracy/care in making observations and recording data. Diagram (if required) is inaccurate and incomplete.
Excellent
Student answers questions completely and accurately including all required data and charts/graphs if required.
Handling of Materials
Absent/Unexcused
Absent/unexcused when lab is done.
The student will receive a grade at the end of the Quarter after all Lab practicals have been averaged.
Poor
Directions were not followed and materials were mishandled and/or not used appropriately.
Fair
Directions were partially followed with materials occasionally used appropriately. Materials not cleaned up and/or stored properly following the experiment.
Excellent
Student independently follows all directions as written or with permission to change written directions, and all materials are cleaned up and stored properly.
