Notes May be hand written or copies of teacher notes from class.	A Binder contains neatly written class notes can be easily found by locating the unit within the section.	B Binder contains MOST notes and are placed in the proper section.	C Binder contains SOME notes in the proper section.	D Binder has no notes section AND/OR no notes placed in the section.
Homework Any and all assignments.	A ALL homework is placed in appropriate homework section.	B Binder contains MOST homework assignments, completed and in the proper section.	C Binder contains SOME homework assignments, completed and in the proper section.	D Binder has no homework section AND/OR no homework placed in the section.
Handouts, Assignments, Tests Instructional handouts, tests/quizzes, assignments, and lab work	A Binder has the handouts, tests/quizzes, assignments, and lab work and ALL are neatly placed inside.	B Binder has the handouts, tests/quizzes, assignments, and lab work, and MOST are placed inside.	C Binder has SOME of the handouts, tests/quizzes, assignments, and lab work placed inside.	D Binder does not have handouts, tests/quizzes, assignments, and lab work present.
Organization/Neatness General organization of Notebook and its neatness.	A All pages are present and secure in the binder, all dividers are present and clearly labeled.
