Student will design a chart which details 10 important decisions in the novel they read. The student will explain how the decision helped to progress the novel forward.

There is no detail or imagination.	Needs Improvement There are no illustrations.
Description of decision	Excellent The description is accurately based on the description of the character's decision in the novel. It is clear how the decision stated moved the novel forward.	Good The description is similar to the description in the novel.	Poor The description is very brief and does not give a good idea of the character's decision.	Needs Improvement There is no description of decisions and/or how they served to move the novel forward.
Number of decisions	Excellent All 10 are completed.	Good Between 5-9 are completed.	Poor Only 2-4 are completed.	Needs Improvement Only 1 is complete or none are complete.
