Verge Professional Profile Picture 
Create a profile picture for Verge. Start by taking a picture of yourself. You will need to be able to crop the picture from the shoulders up. You can use any device of your choice. Crop your image into a size between 200 x 200 and 500 x 500 pixels. DO NOT use any filters that alter or change your face. Save your picture as, you will need to upload as your profile picture in Verge under settings. You will also upload your picture for grading in Microsoft Teams. .

Background blends into the subject so that there is not enough contrast to define the person in the picture.

Background is white or a solid color that contrasts with the subject in the photo.
Orientation

There is MORE or LESS of you than a head shot from the shoulders up. The photo has been taken from an angle or the head is tilted.
Fair

The photo is slightly tilted or it looks like it may be a selfie. There is more or less of you than from the shoulders up. The picture is not framed squarely on the canvas.
Good

The picture shows you from the shoulders up facing the camera. The head is squarely frames on the canvas. The subject is standing straight.
Edits

Poor

There is evidence of filters being used to change the original photo. Minor flaws have not been removed. Photo has not been resized. File size exceeds recommendations.
Fair

There are minor touch ups that need to be done in the background or on the subject.
Good

Minor blemished have been corrected so the subject appears natural. The photo has been saved as a .jpg file.
