Simple Machines: Group Work Simple Machines: Group Work Students will work in groups of three or four and build a simple machine of their own. The students will build a simple machine and be able to demonstrate how to change velocity and acceleration and the relationship between them. Students should also calculate in the effects of gravity and friction of the simple machine. Group Work Students work well together with group and show understanding for the importance of group participation.	Poor Students did not work together, participation was low and group was not willing to compromise.	Fair Students worked together but spent time fussing over roles. Participation with group was middle grounds on average.	Good Students worked well together. Each member participated and helped equally.
Oral Presentations Students will give oral presentation and each group member will have a part.	Poor Students did not share oral responsibilities. Group oral presentation was not well prepared and unclear.	Fair Students shared oral responsibilities, though presentation was sloppy and a bit unclear.	Good Students shared oral responsibilities. Presentation was well prepared and clear.
Rubric Participation Each student will preform at least one rubric on another classmate to practice the importance of rubrics.	Poor Student did not participate in the grading of another student with given rubric.	Fair Student participated in the grading in another student with given rubric but showed clear mis-understanding on the use of rubric.	Good Student participated in the grading of another student and showed clear understanding on the use of a rubric.
