Abstinence Project

Design a multimedia project of your choice that: •uses Microsoft PowerPoint •includes cooperative groups •includes research to find information or data •includes a presentation of information. When selecting a topic, keep in mind the due date for topic choice and how well your topic can inform and address all areas of the rubric.

Deadlines	Poor Final project and presentation deadline was not met.	Good Deadlines were met but tasks were not well defined.	Excellent Deadline for topic choice, individual tasks and presentation was met.
Group Work	Poor Students were assigned group work but worked as individuals. Entire group did not work together to complete project. Students did not get along well.	Good Students worked in a group. Specific student responsibilities were at times misunderstood or unclear. Perhaps students had a hard time establishing roles. Communication and cooperation failed at times.	Excellent Students worked in a group setting where tasks were divided up equally, jobs were understood and cooperation and communication was maintained.
Contents	Poor Research was sparse. Data found was borrowed or irrelevant to topic.	Good Students performed research and presented data. Sources perhaps were not all credible or well documented.	Excellent Research and data was thorough and cohesive. Data was processed and displayed and included in final product. Sources included are credible and documented.
Presentation	Poor Material was not informative or clearly communicated. All group members did not participate in oral presentation. All of most speakers did not speak loud enough to be heard.	Good Presentation was complete. Perhaps all individuals did not participate in presentation or perhaps some participants did not speak loud enough to be heard.	Excellent Presentation was clear and thorough. Information was presented in a creative way. All individuals from group participated in presentation. Participants projected their voices so they were easily heard.
Creativity	Poor Information was not put together in a creative and organized way.	Good Information could have been put together in a more creative and organized way.	Excellent Information was put together in a very creative and organized way.
