Students will create a comic strip to explain the process and affects of weathering using a superhero or explain the process and affects of erosion and deposition using the superhero. *Refer to Weathering and Erosion from Scholastic Study Jams video on Youtube.*

Students will have the ability to visually represent what the content they have learned in regards to mechanical weathering, chemical weathering, erosion, and soil deposition by having the ability to take pictures and discuss details in a presentation format (blog). By applying the concepts learned to a real life situation, such as the beach, students can fully understand the impact humans can have on their environments.

In this activity, students will compose lyrics for a song, poem or write an essay about the Earth's landforms, erosion, and weathering to present to the class

Your company is in charge of designing a new building of no fewer than 30 floors. You must design and build a structure that is earthquake proof. This includes a construction sketch, a structural analysis, and a prototype that withstands an earthquake.

In groups, create a skit that takes place in a Spanish-speaking country in a restaurant. Students must create a menu, use props which may include food to authenticate their script. Lines should be memorized.

Create a board game that utilizes all of the questions off of your plate tectonics study guide. You must create a rules page that describes how to play and each detail of the game. The game board needs to be creative, with a game name, and all of the materials to play the game must be included. Questions must be printed by hand or typed.
