Final Exam: Musical Theatre Performance

This rubric provides a guide for grading singing performance of the students in their Recital.

I understand solfege and pitch. I can perform a given melody by singing the solfege syllables (with correct rhythm). For use with One Minute Sight Singing

The following rubric is a checklist for singing skills. In order for you and I to analyze your current vocal skills, you can choose a song from your Ipod to sing for me by yourself while you listen to the song with your earbuds. That way, you can hear the melody and sing along, but I can hear your voice and see your face and body in order to give you constructive feedback. Also, I will videotape you so that YOU ALONE can see and hear yourself as well. I will NOT show the video to your classmates. You will then complete the rubric below.
