Rubric used for oral presentation tasks

Group given topics to research for informative presentation. Group has to prepare a 45 minutes presentation that has to be presented in front of the class. Presentation could be presented with supplemental visuals.

1) what is the person’s job? 2) when was the person elected/ appointed and how long is the person in office? 3) what pieces of legislation has this person been involved with and in what way was this person involved? 4) what are your impressions of this person (from your own research)? Put this information in your own words in written format using Times New Roman, 12-pt font

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your interview requirements have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Develop a presentation to share researched information about your selected topic. Presentations should be from 15-20 minutes, and may include PowerPoints, handouts, multimedia, group work, or any other item needed to present and have students understand the topic.

Written reflection to include an introduction and a conclusion paragraph.
