For this project, you will be designing your ideal preschool classroom. Needed Elements: 1. Floor Plan of preschool classroom 2. Outline of all centers - with a list of needed equipment 3. Pick two centers to focus on. Include examples of all items in the center; set up of the center; how/why the center promotes the development of the child (physical, social, emotional, cognitive) 4. Indoor Recess equipment 5. Include all furniture/rugs/accessories to show an accurate layout of the room.

Students are to use this rubric to assist with annotation skills with written documentation such as chapter reading, articles and handouts.

This rubric is designed to assess students' "Three Concepts and a Discussion" facilitator session in class. Students' session should cover the three concepts from the assigned reading they feel are most important/relevant, as well as incorporating discussion questions and comments from classmates' HW posts.

Panel Discussion: Students will be in charge of being “experts” of part of the book. They must have a summary. They will need discussion questions (2 Recall, 2 Infer, and 2 higher order thinking questions). In their discussion, they will be required to have: summary, at least 8 questions, character guide (pick one character from the part and explain their characteristics, and figurative language (symbolism, metaphor, allusions, allegories).
